Parq Vancouver Resort & Casino

This new 675,000 SF resort and casino is being constructed on a congested downtown Vancouver site adjacent to residential high rises and a 60,000 capacity stadium. It includes a multi-level casino, meeting rooms, convention hall and 2 hotels with 550 rooms.

KWH Constructors erected 1,850 tons of structural steel for the project. Working in an extremely tight urban environment, KWH coordinated steel erection around active streets, adjacent structures, and ongoing concrete construction — requiring precise sequencing and close collaboration with the general contractor and site teams.

The complexity of this project demanded careful planning at every phase, from the curved architectural steel elements to the large transfer structures supporting the hotel towers above. KWH's experienced ironworkers and engineering team delivered the steel erection scope safely and on schedule.
